The final evolution of the EMD bulldog—recreated from the ground up for Trainz with advanced scripting, custom sound and three layers of dynamic weathering.
TCS The prototype
Manufactured by Clyde Engineering under contract from EMD at Granville, NSW, between 1970 and 1972, the Commonwealth Railways CL Class became the last example of the famous EMD bulldog design built anywhere in the world.
The class worked the Trans-Australian Railway and later ran through from New South Wales to Western Australia. Its mechanical layout closely followed the earlier Western Australian L Class.
TCS The CL series
The available CR locomotives begin the collection. Australian National Railways and Australian National packs will extend the CL story through its next two identities.
